Me and my brother are taking part in this run, it will be the longest I've walked/run since I broke my hips two years ago! Starting in May my hips started to play up again and I was admitted to hospital twice unable to move, since then I've done a lot of physiotherapy and my medicine has helped me and I am now able to walk again but doing this is a huge thing to me! 

We're doing it for Acorns Chirldens Hospice, who looked after a beautiful little boy we knew called Brody. He very sadly passed away in November last year, it was heartbreaking for so many people who grew to know and love him. He had many illnesses including congenital muscular dystrophy and Acorns helped him and his inspirational family so much! Acorns deserves every penny they get so, even if a penny's all you have please give it as they are charity run and an amazing cause.
